First Aid Kits - The 4 1 1

All the items that should be inside your office First Aid Kit box

  • Gloves

Should be nitrile, never latex due to allergy risks

    Item Link List Item 1
  • Face shields

Included in kits for safe CPR - used to avoid direct mouth contact

    Item Link List Item 2
  • Safety pins

Should come with slings. In emergencies, use knots or tape as a substitute

    Item Link List Item 3
  • Medical-grade adhesive tape

If this is not available, sellotape works too (though less breathable)

    Item Link List Item 4
  • Foil blankets

Great for keeping people warm. If you don’t have one, you can use extra clothing or coats

    Item Link
  • Eye wash

The standard bottles are costly and expire quickly. Syringe-style eye washes are better as they give you more application control. If those aren’t available, you use clean running water. Always tilt the affected eye downward to avoid washing contaminants into the other eye

    Item Link
  • First Aid scissors

Have a curved edge to prevent injury when cutting clothing during CPR

    Item Link
  • Dressings

Use the shiny side down  on wounds and burns
